Next Stop: Oxford
the Oxford Canal was a bit anticlimatic…
visited the Oxford Castle which used to be a tower of defence and a prison and was still in operation till 1996!
at the top of the mound where Oxford Castle used to stand before it got burnt down
then there were tons of college-sightseeing pictures
one of the busiest streets in Oxford – Cornmarket Street
we decided to have our afternoon tea here – the first coffee house in all of England since 1850!
food quality wasn’t the most exciting but the decor was sweet and pretty. the waitress also mixed up our order…
I ordered almond croissant and she gave me a plain croissant
my favourite architecture in Oxford – the Bridge of Sighs
I was ecstatic when I saw it haha
Bodleian Library – the library that hosted over 9 million books!
Taylor’s – an amazing snack and pastries store we stumbled upon randomly on the streets of Oxford
I feel so much more educated already just by visiting Oxford!
