cool Paris street art around Place des Vosges
bands/ quartets everywhere
took us forever to find the Bastille
also went to look at tons of treasures inside one of the most famous glass pyramids in the world – Louvre
spent hours looking at naked male bodies
and occassionally amputated women bodies as well
some more famous than others…
can you imagine this used to be someone else’s house a couple hundred years ago?
my favourite gallery in the whole museum Galerie D’Apollon (Hall of Apollo)
then of course, a casual and unforgettable stroll down Champs Elysees towards Arc de Triomphe, just before the sun goes down
look at how beautiful it is!
walked down Champ de Mars to this Peace monument thingy
looked back at this beauty, admiring how do the Parisians live with such a gorgeous scene everyday
Notre Dame was another must-see
La Conciergerie was another pleasant surprise where we got to visit Marie Antoinette’s cell room
River Seine was gorgeous!
there were so many random carousels – this one was by Hotel de Ville
made a short trip to Montmartre, discovered so much cute street art along the way – it was such a hipster area where all the poor and broke artists and writers used to live
the (in)famous Moulin Rouge!
made the best decision ever to climb up to the top of 59th floor of Montparnasse Tower for this amazing view of Paris at night, despite it being crazily windy and bone-chilling cold
ended our Paris portion of the trip with a nice breakfast by the station Gare Du Nord
cool train station Paris!
and may I add that the quality of the photos I took with my Samsung s2 is just amazing? you can’t even tell if some of them are taken by my phone or not!
