Story Installment 5: Angels and Demons.

ENROUTE. IN A MERCEDES BENZ CONVERTIBLE.

The man had gone down this road one too many times than he probably should. As he made a left turn around the corner and came to a secluded lane, he stopped his car in front of a two-storey white house and parked by the curb.

He turned off his engine and stepped out of this car.

[SOUND OF CAR DOOR OPENING AND CLOSING]

Lights were shining through the curtains giving the house a halo effect. The drive was about half an hour long but it was a trip he was willing to make. He couldn’t tell if it was a habit or an addiction;if entering this white house would make him an angel or a demon.

DING DONG.

[SOUND OF DOOR UNLOCKING]

The front door swung open and a silhouette appeared at the doorway.

The man stepped inside the light and gave the silhouette a peck on the cheek. The scene was angelic. It was as if he stepped into the brightest light there was and kissed an angel. Only that what he was about to do was nothing like an angel.

“Hey.” the man said gently as he walked inside.

The soft light shining from the doorway hit the woman in the silk robe in all the right places. Her soft cheeks reflecting the light as she stepped forward to hold the man’s hand. Her lips red and voluptuous. Her hair wavy and slightly wet from the shower. The man leaned in to smell her signature scent. Rose. It was his favourite. She sure knows how to please me, he thought. He went in for a deeper kiss on the lips this time… he wanted more… he desired more.

MAN REACHES FOR THE DOOR AND CLOSES IT.

ZOOM OUT. FRONT DOOR. DARK. FADE OUT.
